The multi-family building at Witikonerstrasse 43 in Zurich‑Hirslanden was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century and is a characteristic example of Zurich brick architecture. As part of a comprehensive renovation, the existing apartments are being modernized, the building structure is being technically and functionally upgraded, and the living spaces are being reorganized using high-quality and sustainable materials. At the same time, building services are being modernized to provide residents with contemporary comfort.
Duboc + Friedrich is responsible for construction management on behalf of the client. Our scope of work includes coordinating all project stakeholders, liaising with consultants and contractors, on-site supervision, and managing costs, schedules, and quality throughout all project phases. Special attention is given to the coordinated execution of the renovation in a challenging existing building context, preserving historical elements while achieving modern residential standards.
